Shahram Hashemi Reflects on Aldenham’s Journey and the Vision Shaping Education in Saudi Arabia
In a recent ISO Podcast (SBA) conversation, Aldenham Education Group’s Managing Partner shares reflections on purpose-led growth, long-term partnership and the transformation of international education under Vision 2030.

Aldenham Education Group’s Managing Partner, Mr Shahram Hashemi, has shared a thoughtful reflection on the journey that has shaped the Group’s presence in Saudi Arabia, and on the wider transformation of the Kingdom’s international education landscape under Vision 2030.

Speaking on the ISO Podcast (SBA), Mr Hashemi explored the vision that continues to guide Aldenham Education Group’s work in the Kingdom: building with intent, prioritising quality over scale and contributing meaningfully to the future of education in Saudi Arabia.

The conversation highlighted the significance of Vision 2030 in opening a new chapter for education in the Kingdom. For Aldenham Education Group, this has meant far more than expansion. It has been an opportunity to help shape a model of education rooted in partnership, trust and long-term impact, while remaining aligned with the Kingdom’s ambition to create world-class learning environments for future generations.

Mr Hashemi reflected on the Group’s work alongside the Royal Commission for Riyadh City, the Ministry of Investment and the Ministry of Education, noting that these partnerships have been central to building a sustainable and meaningful educational presence in Saudi Arabia. This collaborative approach continues to underpin Aldenham’s contribution to the Kingdom’s educational development.

The discussion also reinforced Aldenham Education Group’s distinctive philosophy as an owner-operated education group that values substance over scale. Rather than pursuing growth for its own sake, the Group remains focused on delivering academic excellence, strong pastoral care and an all-round educational experience that prepares young people to thrive in a changing world.

At the heart of the podcast was a wider reflection on leadership in education, and on what it means to invest with purpose. Mr Hashemi spoke to the importance of building institutions that are credible, values-led and designed for long-term relevance: institutions that do not simply respond to change, but help shape it.

As Aldenham Education Group continues to grow its work in Saudi Arabia, the conversation serves as a timely reminder that meaningful educational leadership is built on vision, partnership and a clear commitment to future generations.
