We are thrilled to announce the appointment of Mr. Matthew Aston as the new Head of Aldenham Prep Riyadh! With an impressive background in education and a wealth of international experience, Mr. Aston brings a unique set of skills and expertise to our school community.
A Leader with Extensive Experience
Mr. Aston will take the helm as the Head of Aldenham Riyadh this coming August, where for the past 8 years, he has served as the Head of Haileybury Almaty in Kazakhstan. With a career spanning 21 years in education, he has worked in various roles across the United Kingdom, Middle East, and Central Asia. Prior to his current position, Mr. Aston served as a Deputy Head at the Kuwait English School.
Strong Academic Credentials
A key element in our search for a new Head was a candidate with excellent academic credentials. Mr. Aston not only meets this requirement but exceeds it. He holds the highly regarded National Professional Qualification for Headship, demonstrating his commitment to professional development and leadership in education. Furthermore, he has carried out numerous school visits for British Schools in the Middle East and has been involved in British Schools Overseas accreditation.
Mr. Aston’s wealth of experience and credentials combined will ensure that every child attending Aldenham Prep Riyadh will be supported and nurtured during every stage of their education.
