Pastoral Day, 2026
Confirm your booking
Pastoral care is in our DNA, and has been since our founding in 1597.
Join us on Saturday 7 November for our Pastoral Day: a morning for families to see how Aldenham School Riyadh looks after each child’s wellbeing, happiness and personal growth, so that they feel safe, known and supported to thrive.
In uncertain times, children thrive on routine, connection and support. Discover how our eight P.A.S.T.O.R.A.L. commitments, Purpose, Attentiveness, Safety, Trust, Openness, Respect, Acceptance and Listening, shape every school day, and why we believe healthy bodies make for healthy minds.
Is your child finding it hard to settle? It is never too late to make a change. Come and meet the people who will know your child, and see the caring, welcoming community they would belong to.
What to expect on the day:
A warm welcome and introduction to pastoral care at Aldenham
A screening of our wellbeing film
A short, guided wellbeing activity for families
A tour of the school led by our pupils, showcasing pupil leadership
Meet the Pastoral Team: our Heads of Houses and wellbeing staff
Taster sessions from our academic departments, each with a wellbeing focus
Places are limited, so we encourage families to register early.
We look forward to welcoming you to Aldenham School Riyadh (ASR).

Aldenham UK
Founded in 1597, Aldenham UK is the flagship of the Aldenham Foundation and is steeped in history, with over 428 years of academic excellence. Aldenham UK - and all of our schools - embodies the best of timeless traditions and universal values, along with a documented history of a forward-thinking culture that’s served to differentiate us from our peers.
At Aldenham, we remember that achievement is an individual matter - whether that’s entry to an Oxbridge college, a sporting or cultural goal, or simply growing up into a well-balanced individual. Dedicated teaching is at the heart of everything we do. While we help our pupils to focus on their own plans, our teachers focus on our pupils.
