Welcome to Aldenham Prep School Riyadh
The first owner-operated branch of an independent UK school in KSA
Aldenham Prep School Riyadh is proud to offer a first-class British International education for boys and girls aged 3 to 14, fully aligned with the values and traditions of Aldenham School in the UK. Like our sister school, we are dedicated to providing an excellent all-round education that combines strong academic foundations with opportunities for personal growth and achievement beyond the classroom. As we are a relatively new school, we currently offer classes up to Year 8. However, we are continuing to grow and will in time become a full EYFS to Year 13 British International School, offering (I)GCSE and A Level qualifications.
When a child joins Aldenham Prep School Riyadh, they become part of a warm and inclusive community where pastoral care is at the heart of everything we do. We know that children learn best when they feel valued, supported and confident.
Our broad curriculum, rich co-curricular programme and strong sense of community help pupils to discover and develop their talents. As part of the wider Aldenham family, our pupils also benefit from the strength and heritage of a global network. We look forward to welcoming you and your child to Aldenham Prep School Riyadh.

AldenhamPlus Curriculum Journey
EYFS - Nursery / Foundation (Age 3+)
The Early Years Foundation Stage is where a child’s learning journey at Aldenham begins. It is a warm, joyful and carefully structured environment that nurtures natural curiosity and supports children as they take their first steps into school life. Every day is designed to inspire wonder, build confidence and help children develop a love of learning that stays with them as they grow.
Key Stage 1 (Age 5+)
Key Stage 1 marks the beginning of a child’s formal learning journey and provides an environment where curiosity, imagination and early independence are encouraged. In Years 1 and 2 pupils develop the essential literacy and numeracy skills that underpin future learning while building confidence as young learners.
Key Stage 2 (Age 7+)
Key Stage 2 provides a warm, purposeful and vibrant environment where pupils in Years 3 to 6 grow in confidence and develop the skills that prepare them for the challenges of later schooling. These years are an important stage of development as children become more independent and begin to take greater responsibility for their progress.
Key Stage 3 (Ages 11–14)
In Years 7 to 9 pupils build on the strong foundations established in earlier phases and begin to develop greater independence, confidence and intellectual curiosity. Key Stage 3 represents an important stage of transition, where learners deepen their knowledge across a broad and balanced curriculum while starting to take more responsibility for their progress.
