Aldenham School Riyadh is accepting applications now for the 2027/28 academic year, which starts on Sunday 15 August 2027, for every year group from Nursery to Year 9 (ages 3 to 14).[1][2]
There is no closing date: the school admits pupils all year round with no closed periods. Places depend on availability, so some year groups may have a waitlist, and siblings of current pupils are given priority when they do. Admissions enquiries are answered within 48 hours.[1]

Who this guide is for
If you are relocating to Riyadh for work: you can apply before you arrive. The school tour can be taken on the 360° virtual tour, and documents still in progress can be sent later without disadvantaging the application.[1][6][7]
If you already live in Riyadh: transfers are possible into any year group at any point in the year, after an age-appropriate assessment.[1][7]
If you are planning ahead for August 2027: because places depend on availability, applying early gives the best chance of a place in the year group you want. Siblings of current pupils have priority where there is a waitlist.[1]
How to apply: six steps
1. Enquire
Send an enquiry online or call the Admissions Team; enquiries are answered within 48 hours.[1]
2. Tour the school
A school tour is required before an offer: book a date on campus, or take the 360° virtual tour if you are still abroad.[1][8][6]
3. Register
Complete Formal Registration online with your child's nationality and passport copies, vaccination certificate and latest school report. A non-refundable SAR 1,000 assessment and registration fee is payable on application.[9][3]
4. Assessment
Your child takes an age-appropriate assessment in English and Mathematics benchmarked against UK standards; the school also reviews previous school reports, and may hold an informal interview where applicable.[10][7]
5. Offer
Successful applicants receive a formal offer letter, acceptance documents and fee payment instructions.[7]
6. Accept
Accepting the place secures it, with a SAR 10,000 acceptance fee and a SAR 10,000 capital development fee (both one-time and non-refundable), then the school fees.[3][7]
Starting school
Pupils joining for the new year start on Sunday 15 August 2027. Pupils joining during the year start once their place is accepted; fees are adjusted for pupils joining from January.[1]
Every new pupil is offered an Experience Day (a trial day to get a taste of school life), an Aldenham buddy on their first day, and parent check-ins for the first few days.[1]
Siblings receive a SAR 1,250 discount on tuition for each additional child enrolled.[3]

Do you accept mid-year transfers for 2027/28?
