As another academic year comes to a close and the holiday season begins, we look back at the exciting and fun-filled activities our pupils engaged in this summer. From a thrilling school sleepover to a dazzling production of The Greatest Show, our pupils had a wonderful time wrapping up the summer season!
School Sleepover
Over 40 Upper school pupils had an exhilarating evening of activities during our much-anticipated school sleepover. The event kicked off with the children designing and creating their personalised sleepover 2023 t-shirts, showcasing their creativity and enthusiasm.
The fun continued with a scrumptious evening meal shared with friends in our dining hall, replenishing their energy for the night ahead. After dinner, the children settled in to watch the enchanting movie Matilda while munching on popcorn and chips. The empty corridors resonated with the joyous sound of their favourite songs from the film, as they sang along with delight.
The night's adventure reached its peak around a cosy campfire, where our young talents shared songs, stories, and jokes, fostering a sense of togetherness and friendship. As bedtime approached, the children settled in for the night, with some falling asleep quickly while others relished the excitement!
The Greatest Show Production
Our pupils showcased their incredible talents in a dazzling production of The Greatest Show, leaving the audience in awe of their creativity and dedication. With each step on the stage, our young performers brought the magic of the show to life, captivating everyone in the audience.
The months of hard work and rehearsals paid off as the pupils exuded confidence and enthusiasm on stage, truly embodying the spirit of The Greatest Show. From mesmerising singing to dancing and acting, the performance was a testament to the immense talent and passion of our pupils.
This memorable production not only showcased their performing abilities but also taught them the value of teamwork, discipline, and perseverance. The experience of working together towards a common goal and putting on a breathtaking show has undoubtedly left a lasting impact on our pupils' personal and artistic growth.
